In the spirit of The Good News Experiment, our initiative to raise awareness for partner Mothers for Justice and Equality’s movement against gun violence and share the stories of inspirational people from a variety of additional service areas, the following photo advisory went out to inform media of MJE’s Valentine’s Day lunch. The event with Suffolk County (MA) District Attorney Rachael Rollins helped provide healing and new connections for those missing loved ones who were lost to community violence.

in an effort to provide healing and new connections to those missing loved ones

The event for 50 guests will feature speeches from Suffolk County District Attorney Rachael Rollins and The Boston Foundation’s Natanja Craig-Oquendo in addition to buffet lunch and entertainment

WHAT :

Mothers for Justice and Equality (MJE), a non-profit organization founded in 2010 by mothers who had lost children to community violence, will hold a Valentine’s Day lunch with the theme of “Love lifted me.” In addition to offering healing and new connections for 50 guests, the event will feature motivational speeches, buffet lunch, entertainment and gifts.
